Professional Background
Tony joined Legal Hospice of Texas in the executive leadership role following a long career in nonprofit administration. Early in his career, he spent over 20 years with the YMCA, where he held various leadership and program management positions, developing strong skills in team building, public speaking, and community engagement — all qualities he brought to his work at LHT.
As Executive Director, Tony focused on strengthening the organization’s capacity, expanding revenue sources, and ensuring that legal services were barrier-free for those most in need. Under his guidance, LHT continued its mission to assist individuals who were terminally ill or living with HIV with legal challenges affecting their health, including estate planning, disability benefits, housing, and insurance issues.
